Triscuit's Story...
Triscuit is just a sweet, loving boy in need of a home of his own. Here is what his foster parents have to say about this little guy:

"Triscuit is a big personality in a little body. He gets along great with our resident dog playing and following each other during play time. During rest time, it is not unusual to find Triscuit and the resident dog sleeping with their heads on each other. Triscuit is also cat friendly. Be warned...this guy is a snuggler!! Whenever we are on the couch relaxing, Triscuit will have no quams volunteering to keep you lap warm. Triscuit enjoys walks and has great leash manners. He walks faster than you would expect and enjoys brief sprints if you are up for it! Triscuit is house trained and sleeps thru the night. If you have room on your bed and would like a companion, Triscuit is the boy for you! Else, he is just as happy to curl up and spend the night on the couch or other dog bed area!"

He's just a perfect little guy! He needs daily walks, romps in the backyard, plenty of snuggle time and ideally another canine friend to hang out with too. Please fill out an application for this adorable little guy today - www.azrescue.org.

Triscuit weighed 8.1 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Triscuit, a Phoenix Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
