Ruff Ruff! My name is Lovey

Lovey's Story...
Hi my name is Lovey (A.K.A. Love Handle) and I am a very playful dog. My current foster family thinks I would do well with a family who has another playful dog just like me or one that has time to play with me and who enjoys going for walks and runs. I like to play tug-of-war fetch monkey-in-the-middle and wall-ball. I also like to snuggle and have quiet time with my foster family. If you dont want me on your furniture I am just as happy to be lying on the floor next to you. Once you are finished playing with me I will be tired and will hit the sack. Another thing you should know about me is that I love people car rides chasing squirrels and giving kisses. I will sit in your lap or lay on the floor beside you when we watch TV. If you want I will be happy to sleep with you in bed. I like to go potty after eating my kibble and know the following commands: SIT LAY DOWN and DROP (if drop does not work just walk away and I will drop the toy). I am protective of my foster family. The first time my foster mom hugged one of her kids I barked and jump but as soon as I realized she was not hurting them I just gave her kisses! I am also HOUSE TRAINED and will walk on a leash just be ready if I see a squirrel! I do pull on a leash but will calm down after getting all my smelling done. My foster Mom said I am great with children however I do jump some (but will sit as soon as you tell me) so smaller children are not best. My current foster family children are 9 & 11 and they are perfect! I look larger in my pictures than I am in real life I only weigh about 35lbs. All-in-all my foster family feels I live up to my name and I hope that you love me as well.
