Sienna's Story...
Sienna is a puppy mill survivor. She is now settling in to her foster home, where her foster Mom is giving her the gentle TLC this beautiful girl long deserves. She is quite delicate and the most shy out of her sisters and is learning how to be a dog and quite liking it. Sienna will be an incredibly loyal girl to her adopter. Sienna loves to follow her foster kitty brothers around the house. She will strive in a home that will encourage her to be the girl she can be and loved to the moon and back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sienna, a Ottawa Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
