Hunter's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Hunter is a 10 year old Grey Tabby (most likely a Maine Coon Mix) with a very beautiful and soft long coat. Hunter’s mom called Fuzzy Pawz Rescue for help when she realized that at 87 she was no longer able to care for Hunter or his brother Zeke properly. She had a hard time cleaning the litter box and sometimes forgot to feed them. Bless her heart for realizing she needed help and we were more than happy to help.

Hunter is a nice boy who is people friendly and not overly needy. He does like his alone time to nap but is also content to sit with you or let you pick him up and carry him around. He has never spent any time with children so we would suggest no small children under 6.

We are unsure how he is with dogs but he appears to be good with other cats, he is currently living in foster care with another cat and the 2 of them are fine together.

He is a sweet, quiet boy with a lot of love to give for many years to come.

He is litter box trained and does not mark.

Hunter may be 10 but you wouldn’t know it he is very healthy and active.

Hunter is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is also declawed.

If you would like to meet Hunter please complete an application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

The adoption fee for Hunter is $20.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Boise Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Boise, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
