Penelope's Story...
PENELOPE IS BEING FOSTERED IN RICHMOND, VA. Please email momsrescue@gmail.com.

Woof! My name is Penelope. I am a one year old lab mix dog. I love to run in the yard, catch balls or a frisbee, and play with my best friend, AJ. I am crate trained and I am working on house training. I am almost there :) I love giving licks and kisses. I love to be petted while we watch the football games. I know that I will be a great addition to your family. My foster mom thinks I am the best! AJ and I are learning to sit and fetch together. I am learning fast.
If you would like to adopt me, please email us and we will send you an application. Can't wait to be a part of your family. xoxo Penelope

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penelope, a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
