My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a very sweet, smart, affectionate 5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. Jack is calm for a JRT and loves to sit on your lap or cuddle up next to you. He is generous with his kisses. He is 5 years old and very healthy. He is 13" tall and weighs 19 pounds.

He is crate trained and will go to his crate on demand. He loves to go for leash walks and enjoys going outside but usually comes right back to the door after finishing his business. He would make a great dog for a retired couple or a family with older children. (We generally do not adopt Jack Russells to families with children under 6 years of age.)

Jack is a happy smiling boy who loves to be loved on. He is a little pudgy but not obese. We are helping him lose a few pounds but in the meantime we love rubbing on his big belly. And he loves it right back.

Jack is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. He is on monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. If you would like to take this sweet fellow a member of your family, contact Christopher Bare at uncbare@yahoo.com.
