Mae's Story...
Meet Mable, MacBrown, McCormick, McDuff, Mandee,And McGregor! These fuzzy lil pups came into our program at just a week old. They were rescued along with their mother from Animal Care Services. Their mom wasnt able to feed 7 hungry puppies so we had to have their foster do some bottle feeding for a few weeks and they grew from tiny little furballs to cute little fuzzies. Now they are able to eat solid kibbles and they are healthy eaters. They are just your typical playful siblings who run and jump on eachother. They wrestle and nap and eat and then repeat that a few times a day. If only we could all be as carefree as these little guys. They get along great with other dogs, cats and especially children. If you are interested in one of these puppies please visit to fill out an adoption application or email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mae, a San Antonio Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
