Conti's Story...
Meet Conti! He's a male, 2 year old Maltese mix rescued from a kill shelter. He did have some matted fur so we gave him a close shave, and it's starting to grow back into a beautiful solid white coat! Conti is a wonderful little snuggle bug. He's house trained, crate trained and just loves to find a spot to curl up and sleep when he's not following his foster mama around checking on what she's up to! Conti does like kids, cats and other dogs, but mostly he just wants his own home and family to love him!

**We are a shelterless rescue and all of our dogs are in people's private homes. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuters.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Conti, a Williston Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Williston, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
