Lily's Story...
HI! my name is Lily and I am looking for a loving furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I am being fostered in Brooklyn, NY and my foster mom and dad love and adore me :)). I am about a year old, 16 lbs full grown, heartworm negative and very happy and healthy. My foster family tells me that I am a doggy favorite in the neighborhood. I love to greet everyone I meet with a wagging tail. I love to run around and play abd love to snuggle too. My foster mom and dad think I would be happiest in a home with a fenced in yard where I could run around and play. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses Lily :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Madison Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in Madison, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
