Michelle's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Michelle's Story...
Michelle is an exceptional kitten. One minute she was in a McDonalds parking lot, scrounging for food. The next, she was scooped up by a FOR volunteer and became a studio assistant! She shares the studio with several other cats and three dogs during work hours. She gets along with everybody very well and can handle ANY dog, no doubt about it. She chooses to be near her human friend, quietly sitting a few feet away and following you around the room. She's estimated to be 3-4 months old and is truly a gorgeous young cat. To learn more and meet her, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Michelle is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michelle, a Huntsville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
