SCOOTER's Story...
~ADOPTION PENDING~ You may meet and apply to adopt Scooter at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

~ADOPTION PENDING~ Scooter is a male Terrier/Poodle mix about 9 months old. He is probably one of the friendliest little bundles of joy you will ever meet. He is short, squatty, rolly polly, and utterly huggable. His compact, chubby little 10 pound body is so soft and snuggly. Scooter's claim to fame are his giant bunny ears, one of which sticks straight up and the other that flops over. Adorable! Scooter loves to be held and cuddled, but will then wiggle down for a romp around your feet. He is completely entertaining for children as he loves to play silly games with toys and with other dogs. You can easily take him to the dog park, dog beach, or for neighborhood playtime. He is a very nice little boy. Scooter seems extremely well adjusted and gets along wherever he is. He is eager to please his owners and will quickly figure out what you want. Scooter is a smart guy and catches on quickly. He will be highly trainable and definitely the sort of dog who can learn some neat tricks if you want. He is quick, agile, and springy - able to jump and turn in the air when he's playing. Scooter has a soft, curly black and white coat that appears to be low to non-shedding. He is looking for a family to call his own who will include him in their hearts and lives. Scooter is ready to start his new life today!

Scooter's adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Scooter is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam & Allen and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Scooter at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SCOOTER, a Newport Beach Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
