Nilla's Story...
Nilla is a total love bug. She loves to snuggle, play with toys, and gets along with all other animals. She likes to play in the water but hasn't fully swam yet. She is very laid back and low energy. She loves a good walk and going to the dog park. Nilla came from an abusive past and needs to be in a home where she feels safe. Loud voices and objects in hand scare her. She has came out of her shell being in foster care and is not afraid anymore. She needs a forever home that she can become herself and not be afraid that she is going to be abused. She is great with kids however she should be with kids that are a little older due to her past.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nilla, a Hanover Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
