Elliott's Story...
Elliot is an 8 mth pitbull mix that is full of energy, strong as an ox, but as gentle as a teddy bear. He loves attention and does great with cats, and dogs. He is fantastic around numerous people and small children. He is house-broken and does not run when off a leash. He strives to please the owner and loves cuddling at all times. There is not one mean bone in his body, but he does not get along with large male dogs, so we want him to go to a home with only females or where he would be an only dog! The best part is he likes to smile with his teeth. Up to date on shots, heartworm and flea prevention!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elliott, a Hanover Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
