Marley's Story...
September 1, 2012: Marley is a super sweet girl who needs a home that is willing to work with her. She is the definition of nervous. She needs an owner who will go slowly with her and understand that her life before she was in foster care is not something she can quickly get over. She was used as a puppy mill breeding dog and then ended up in a hoarding situation where she wasn't treated very well.

Marley is getting more trusting each day. She loves to sit next to you for pets and her favorite thing is to snooze under any available blanket. She loves her dog buddies but should not be with cats or children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Wilmington Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
