I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Phoebe came into the shelter 3 months ago as an abuse case. She had been chained to a post all her life and was starved. She was literally skin and bones, weighing only 15 lbs, take in mind that Phoebe is a Shepherd mix and should have weighed 3 times that much. After a court battle, the shelter now has ownership of Phoebe and the right to find her a loving home. This little girl did not even know how to play when we got her. She was use to being tied up, she would cling to your side and wouldn't venture off. With a lot of love, work and patience, she has come out of her shell and has actually put on weight, she now weighs 32 lbs. She could still afford to gain some more but she is making progress. Phoebe is still a young girl, around a year or less. She is still growing and has that awkward big puppy look to her..she is all legs and feet. She is as sweet as she can be, no aggression issues at all and for what she has been through, that is saying a lot. Phoebe was recently SPAYED, that is why she is missing hair on her leg and stomach. She is a delightful, high spirited angel that is testimony to the forgiveness and healing in which animals possess. If you could give Phoebe a real home, one in which there are no chains and plenty of food, contact the shelter ASAP. NO ADOPTION FEE at WBRP Shelter. All applicants are carefully screened, shelter reserves the right to refuse adoption. Vet references may be asked for.
