ROMAN's Story...
~ADOPTION PENDING~ You may meet and apply to adopt Roman at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

~ADOPTION PENDING~ Roman is a male Bichon Frise/Poodle mix approximately 3 years old. He is a nice sturdy, medium size weighing a solid 22 pounds. He has been professionally groomed and is truly stunning. Roman's fur is a gorgeous burnished apricot/copper color with a cream colored undercoat. You don't see that kind of coloring every day. His coat is non-shedding, dense, soft and luxurious. Roman is a wonderfully sensitive, loving young dog. He is a true momma's boy and adores attention and lots of pampering. He is so grateful for affection and kindness - it seems like he has never had it before. Roman was dropped off at the shelter by his owner because they said they weren't allowed to keep him where they were living. Unfortunately, Roman was also dropped off in a unbelievably neglected, matted, filthy and inexcusable condition. Imagine our surprise and delight when our groomer uncovered this beauty. This poor dog most definitely deserves better. He is so friendly and tries incredibly hard to please. He is a smart boy and already knows how to sit, shake and dance. His tail wags a mile a minute when he sees you, or when he sees another dog that might want to play with him. Roman wants to enjoy life, that much is obvious. He wants to enjoy life with a person or family by his side that loves and cares for him and provide him with a forever home. Roman is good with other dogs and with children. He is a gentle boy and likes a gentle touch. He is ready to be your next true love!

Roman's adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Roman is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Lara and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Roman at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROMAN, a Newport Beach Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
