Yoda's Story...
Yoda has no tail! He is the cutest little Bobtail Manx kitty that you will ever see. He came in the shelter with his two siblings, one of which is also a Bobtail. Yoda was trapped by a gentlemen that did not like Yoda or his siblings hanging around on his property and seemed very happy that he had caught them to bring to the shelter, Just as well because we know Yoda will make someone a great pet. Yoda weighs 1.4 lbs, he is around 8 weeks old, eats well on his on and is ready to get adopted. If you could give this little guy a home, please contact the shelter ASAP. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoda, a Baton Rouge Manx kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Manx kitten from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
