Frankie's Story...
This beautiful baby is Frankie. He and his 5 other siblings were born right here in our home. Their sweet mama was very sick when we picked her up from the pound and we didn't even realize she was pregnant tell several weeks later! No surprise Frankie was first to be adopted however we are surprised that he has now been brought back twice! The first home they felt they just could not give the time and effort Frankie needed and the second home is finding it difficult to put the time in for training. Both adopters agree with us that he is a very sweet boy but that he needs training and a household that has the time to spend their days with him. Frankie is great with other dogs and people so he will fit in just about anywhere. If you would like to meet this handsome boy please let us know so we can arrange a meet and greet. Frankie is ready for a forever home, are you it?

About Our Rescue Group...
Our Mission: To rehabilitate and find permanent homes to at risk valley dogs by providing education and support to future owners.

Saving Souls was initiated due to the alarming amount of homeless dogs in the valley. Knowing that hundreds are put down every month due to overcrowding made us want to do more. Chihuahua and Pittie mixes are two of the most frequent breeds PTS in the Phoenix area because of over population and media driven misconceptions. Saving Souls aim is to educate future adopters about the importance of altering pets and shatter misplaced misconceptions.

Exposure, instruction, and education are key components to ensure dogs stay in permanent homes and no longer continue to circulate the system. We are committed to rehabilitate our dogs by introducing structure, calm-assertive energy, and companionship. Our dogs are re-introduced into the home environment where they are given the time they need to grow and heal. With our program and your support we can end the vicious cycle.

*** Saving Souls Dog Rescue and Adoptions is a small volunteer, home based, non profit organization. NO BREED DISCRIMINATION!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Scottsdale Dalmatian/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Whippet for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Dalmatian/Whippet dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Whippet breeders who help with Dalmatian/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
