This beautiful baby is Frankie. He and his 5 other siblings were born right here in our home. Their sweet mama was very sick when we picked her up from the pound and we didn't even realize she was pregnant tell several weeks later! No surprise Frankie was first to be adopted however we are surprised that he has now been brought back twice! The first home they felt they just could not give the time and effort Frankie needed and the second home is finding it difficult to put the time in for training. Both adopters agree with us that he is a very sweet boy but that he needs training and a household that has the time to spend their days with him. Frankie is great with other dogs and people so he will fit in just about anywhere. If you would like to meet this handsome boy please let us know so we can arrange a meet and greet. Frankie is ready for a forever home, are you it?
Rescue Group Info...
Our Mission: To rehabilitate and find permanent homes to at risk valley dogs by providing education and support to future owners.
Saving Souls was initiated due to the alarming amount of homeless dogs in the valley. Knowing that hundreds are put down every month due to overcrowding made us want to do more. Chihuahua and Pittie mixes are two of the most frequent breeds PTS in the Phoenix area because of over population and media driven misconceptions. Saving Souls aim is to educate future adopters about the importance of altering pets and shatter misplaced misconceptions.
Exposure, instruction, and education are key components to ensure dogs stay in permanent homes and no longer continue to circulate the system. We are committed to rehabilitate our dogs by introducing structure, calm-assertive energy, and companionship. Our dogs are re-introduced into the home environment where they are given the time they need to grow and heal. With our program and your support we can end the vicious cycle.
*** Saving Souls Dog Rescue and Adoptions is a small volunteer, home based, non profit organization. NO BREED DISCRIMINATION!
Adoption events and locations are on our calender at our website at http://www.savingsoulsrescue.com/apps/calendar/
You may also contact us to set up a time for a private meet and greet at any time!
Our adoption fees are $180 for Adults over the age of 8 months, puppies $220. Includes up to date shots (including rabies), micro chip, alteration.
Our adoption process includes filling out an adoption application and agreeing to terms and conditions as well as a home check prior to any off sight adoption. We require all pets in a new adopters home to be current on vaccinations and if, in the future, the adopter is no longer able to keep the dog, they will relinquish the adopted dog back into Saving Souls Dog Rescue's care. Our fee's for adult dogs are normally $180 and $220 for puppies. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and are micro-chipped prior to adoption.
Phoenix and surrounding areas including the Maricopa and Pinal counties. We occasionally serve the San Diego, LA and OC California area as well.
