Fawn's Story...
FAWN HAS BEEN ADOPTED WITH SALLY ON FEBRUARY 16, 2013. SHE IS RESIDING IN MISSISSAUGA. My name is Fawn. I was 1 of approximately 13 cats/kittens that were dumped in the farmer's field by the shelter. I am estimated to be about 1 year old. I am very petit as I only weigh 5.9 pounds. I have been vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, microchipped and spayed. I would really like to find a home I can call my own. If you would be interested in adopting me please contact neveahscharityofwestlincoln@hotmail.com or 905-920-0003 to set up a visit or for more information.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small group of volunteers who are determined to help care for abandoned, neglected and unwanted cats in different areas and from the High Volume Shelter in Hamilton. This group of volunteers dedicates their time and energy with receiving only two rewards: great pride in rescuing cats and earning the satisfaction that they did a good thing.

We strive to rehabilitate and re-home most of the cats that come into our care. We use a hands on approach to help cats so they may become family pets. We ensure that each individual receives the special attention required to make this possible.

We are a no kill shelter and believe that all felines deserve another chance whether it is in a forever home or simply here with us at the facility.

We are strictly a non-profit organization and receives no funds from any agency, corporation or the government. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of the public and community.

Neveah (mascot) changed our outlook on cats and how badly they need us to take care of them. We decided to open a Charity in dedication to Neveah's strength and our determination - more information on Neveah's story available at: www.ncwl.weebly.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fawn, a Caistor Centre Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Caistor Centre, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Caistor Centre.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Caistor Centre already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Caistor Centre breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Caistor Centre paves the way for another one to be saved.
