Dodger's Story...
Hi how are you! I'm so happy that you decided to read about me! I'm Dodger and I'm an awesome dog. How do I know this? Well, my foster dad thinks I'm a great dog! He's had a lot of experience with dogs, so that means a lot. I live with other dogs and I love to play with them. They get tired before I do though. I'm really intelligent and I can figure out things quickly. My foster dad spoils me. After I get done playing outside in the cold, he warms my ears up for me when I come back inside. Plus I get to go for car rides all the time. I love car rides! I'm housetrained, too! I'm just a ball of fun and happiness all wrapped up into one. Oh, I must mention I'm a lap dog too. I love to snuggle up after play time to watch TV with you. What more could you want in a dog? I'll be at SICSA on weekends, but you can ask to see me anytime! Just e-mail my favorite SICSA gal at asanders@sicsa.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Kettering Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Kettering, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in Kettering.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kettering already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kettering breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kettering paves the way for another one to be saved.
