Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a handsome, athletic red tick hound mix with an outgoing personality and beautiful reddish-brown freckles scattered throughout his coat. Although he is a hound, he is very relaxed and laid back on walks. He is always eager to please and always enjoys getting a treat for a job well done. He is very devoted to people and will be a great companion dog for a low key family or older couple!

Charlie was found with his litter mates abandoned behind a church as a puppy. He and his sister are the only ones that remain from the litter and we are still looking for the forever homes they deserve. Please contact stephanie.blaylock@gmail.com if you are interested in giving this hound a happy home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Unionville Redtick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redtick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Unionville, or seeking a Redtick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Unionville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Unionville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Unionville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redtick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Redtick Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Unionville paves the way for another one to be saved.
