Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wally is a 6-7 year old Rough Coat Jack Russel Terrier mixed with (we think) Westie who is located in CT. He has had a rough life and ended up at at high kill shelter in NC after being thrown from a car. Despite this, Wally did not break any bones and is in good health other than a little arthritis. He is a very friendly and calm dog and his foster mother in NC had called him her "velcro dog". Although Wally enjoys the company of calm mature dogs he would probably do best as an only dog and cannot live with cats. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys, small tennis balls, chew bones and napping on the couch. We think that Wally would be happiest in a calm - quiet household where he could be the center of attention - therefore an adult couple would be best for him. He would do best as an only dog or with a low maintenance female dog. He is completely housetrained and enjoys going in his crate (with the door open). Wally is a perfect dog for a person looking for a loyal - low maintenance companion. Are you the family who can show Wally what it is to be loved?
