Robbie's Story...
I've got a real live wire for you today! A playful bundle of energy and love that is hard to resist! This is Robbie, he's a 5 to 6 months old Heeler/ lab mix. Because of his abundant energy, his insatiable desire to play and his young age he may be a little too rough for small children until he grows up a bit and calms down. He would benefit greatly from some obedience training. He gets along great with other dogs, cats and pretty much every one! He is neutered and vaccinated and ready to find his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Robbie, a Colville Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Colville, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
