*COURTESY LISTING. This pet is NOT in foster care with Leftover Pets. Please refer to contact info BELOW for more info on this pet.

Autumn.. female. Approx 2-3 years old.. possibly shepherd/chow mix.....VERY smart.. loves people.. LOVES to play ball and fetch.. it is her favorite... house trained.. previous owner seems to have been abusive but she is sweet and will ask for a belly rub to anyone... good with kids...spayed.

Found last November when she scratched at my door asking to be let in... it was cold and rainy... she was taken to the vet a few times since... no microchip and owners were not found... so my cousin took her in and brought her back to a healthy weight... no worms or heart worms... has allergies that make her chew at her itchy legs and paws... allergy cause may be poultry and/or grains but she will need to be tested by vet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

*Autumn, a Winder Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Winder, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Winder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winder paves the way for another one to be saved.
