Callie is a stunning 3 year old calico. Her owner returned her to the shelter because she said that Callie did not like her. We have seen nothing but a very sweet and friendly personality in this little girl. She rubs against her cage door whenever anyone approaches her and she welcomes petting as soon as her door is open. Callie is a very beautiful girl who is hoping that someone will give her a second chance at love and companionship. She doesn't quite understand what she did to be returned but she hasn't let that get her down too much. She is open to meeting new families in hopes that someone will take her in providing her with her real forever home.
Callie is 3 years old. She is spayed, dewormed, up to date with vaccines and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Rescue Group Info...
Happy Feet is a cat rescue organization whose goal is to match our wonderful adoptive cats with the perfect owners. Our cats come from all over, but most are stray or abandoned. Upon arrival, our cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. They are neutered if of the appropriate age, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for any other ailments. We spend time with them, play with them, and nurture their personalities. We love each and every one of our cats, and it shows in their genuine love and respect for us. It gives us no greater pleasure to watch one of our sickly strays blossom into a beautiful feline, and then bittersweetly, we say goodbye to them to their forever homes.
Our adoption procedure consists of e-mailing our adoption coordinator, Cathy, about the particular cat of interest. We will ask specific, general questions in our reply e-mail, and will ask for veterinary references. If approved by our adoption coordinator, we will set up an appointment for the potential adoptor to visit the cat. Final approval on all adoptions will be made in person only, where the adoptor must sign our adoption contract. A non-refundable adoption donation of $125 for neutered cats and $75 for kittens is asked. Any and all veterinary expenses incurred after the time of adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Follow -up calls are made on all cases, and home visits must be made available under circumstances where we deem necessary.
We are a small cat rescue group in Secaucus, NJ.
