Callie's Story...
Callie is a stunning 3 year old calico. Her owner returned her to the shelter because she said that Callie did not like her. We have seen nothing but a very sweet and friendly personality in this little girl. She rubs against her cage door whenever anyone approaches her and she welcomes petting as soon as her door is open. Callie is a very beautiful girl who is hoping that someone will give her a second chance at love and companionship. She doesn't quite understand what she did to be returned but she hasn't let that get her down too much. She is open to meeting new families in hopes that someone will take her in providing her with her real forever home.

Callie is 3 years old. She is spayed, dewormed, up to date with vaccines and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Secaucus Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Secaucus, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Secaucus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Secaucus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Secaucus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Secaucus paves the way for another one to be saved.
