WATCH MY VIDEO! Wrigley is a 1 year old, male purebred Chihuahua who weighs 6 lbs. He was rescued from the Devore animal shelter. We went to the shelter with the intention of taking only one dog that day but quickly made room for Wrigley after we noticed he was being relentlessly bullied by a larger kennel mate. It was a heartbreaking sight.
Wrigley is cuddly and snuggly!! HE ADORES his people and loves to sit quietly on your lap and will cuddle in close for security and comfort. He is bonded and loyal to his person but not demanding, which makes him a very easy low maintenance dog. He is friendly with strangers and is the type of dog you can take anywhere. He is not a barker, his house manners are wonderful and he is very well behaved. He is housebroken and sleeps through the night without needing a bathroom break. He is great on car rides and prances right along beside you when going for a walk. Although Wrigley loves everyone, he would do better in a home with children over 10 years of age because of his small size.
He gets along wonderful with all the dogs in his foster home and really enjoys playing and relaxing in the yard. He has a nice calm energy level and a very easygoing temperament.
Wrigley is, neutered, microchipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on her vaccinations. If you would like to meet him please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999. Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.
Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about a particular dog, please contact us at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
Treasured Tails Canine Rescue is a volunteer based dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. Our available dogs are in foster homes throughout Riverside County and parts of Orange County. We adopt our dogs throughout Southern Ca only.
