Cabella's Story...
Hello, my name is Cabella. Most people call me Bella and the more times you say it ( Bella, Bella, Bella) the more my tail wags. I am a shy, but very loving and loyal, 4 year old girl. As you can see I am bleu. I thought it very unusual until I met my foster brother, Logan, and he is bleu too. Everyone who sees me tells me how beautiful and dark I am. I really love my new foster mom and foster brothers. Kenai is my other brother and he is silver. We play together all the time. I love to run and play outside.

I think I really love my foster home because it is just the 4 of us. I love women, children, and other dogs. For some reason I am really uncomfortable around men. They make me really nervous and scared. I have only warmed up to a few of my moms male friends. I really hope my forever home has a great mom. Kids and pets would be ok too.

My foster mom says she loves me because I am very sweet. I am a good cuddler. I am very mild mannered and well behaved. I know my commands both verbal and hand gestures. I know potty one and potty two. I do them on command when my mom needs me to. I go outside and I do not run away. I am curious and wonder a bit, but all you have to do is call me back and I come. She says she is really proud of how I have adapted to my new home. I really enjoy my crate when everyone is gone. I feel safe there. My mom says I am too nervous to be safe if I wasn't crated. She says I will probably need to be crated when alone for the rest of my life. I like that idea. My foster brothers sleep on the bed so I have been too. However, I also am very good about sleeping on my pallat next to the bed if I need to. I am very obedient and really want to please.

Oh, I forgot to mention. There isn't anything wrong with me. My family had to move to a place where dogs aren't welcome. They were really sad for me to leave and they sent a really nice card to everyone who has helped me.

I am a wonderful weimaraner and I am looking for my forever home with a wonderful forever mom. My foster mom says she will really miss me but that I deserve a home where I can live and be loved forever. I like that idea too. I look forwad to meeting my forever mom.

Much Weim love to whoever reads about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cabella, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
