Bridgette's Story...
Urgent !!! – Please help.....I need a new foster home immediately. My foster mother can’t keep me any longer, can you help me find a forever loving home or another foster home. My name is Bridgette, I am a lot of fun, I love older children and some dogs, I enjoy going for long walks in the park, I really don’t like cats at all. I am about 2 years old and have a lot of energy. But I really like “my special time” as well, sitting at your feet chewing my bone watching T.V. My new foster or forever loving home needs to have a very tall fence and gate because I can jump 6 feet in a single bound (I am part Besenji and part Lab).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridgette, a Bedford Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basenji/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
