George's Story...
Woof! Woof! My name is George and my favorite thing to do is to sleep at your feet and watch T.V. with my best friend. I also like play chase until it is time for bed. I adore people and I love playing with other animals (even cats). I am approx. 1 year old, and have had all my shots (I was neutered too!). Because I am a big boy, I need a big backyard to play in and get lots of exercise. I am kennel, house and leash trained. Won't you take me and my brother home with you. My brother's name is Indy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Bedford Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
