Gracie - I've been waiting a long time :('s Story...

Gracie is an INCREDIBLE dog! She is an approximately 5 year old female pit bull that loves every person she meets! Unfortunately, due to her sad history of extreme neglect and overbreeding, she needs to be the only dog in a home. She bonds so quickly with people that treat her well that she simply does not want to share it with other dogs. Her poor ears were obviously crudely cut off with a scissors, she is missing part of her tongue and lower lip, and she was bred to near death :( Gracie deserves to be spoiled!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FULLY.

Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our homeless pets. We appreciate that you are considering a rescued animal. In order to adopt or meet with one of our available pets, you must first fill out the Adoption Application located at www.pawscrossroads.org . We will ONLY consider homes with the adoption application first being submitted. The Adoption Application does not commit you to adopting, however we need this information that is vital to the adoption process. There are also answers to most frequently asked questions at our website.

The adoption process is as follows:
1. Adoption Application
2. Application Approval/Discussion with Adopter
3. Homevisit.

We are unable to make exceptions to these steps.

Most of the information we have on the pet is listed in this description, including age, prospective adoption date, spay/neuter status, vaccination status, and whether the pet is good with children or other animals. Please read the animal's description fully before calling or emailing us for information on the pet. If you have a question that is not covered in the adoption description, please feel free to contact us.

Please note, we do not have a shelter or public location. This means there are no 'Hours of Operation'. If you want to adopt or meet an animal, you must follow the above procedure.

Observing the above guidelines will save us much time and is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
