Rosie's Story...
Rosie is perhaps one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met! She is an absolute love and so happy to be given a second chance at life.

After giving birth to a litter of puppies, Rosie was discarded in an abandoned lot of an old Hostess Cupcake warehouse. She was most likely from a backyard breeder who sold the puppies for profit and got rid of Rosie when she was no longer worth something to him. Rosie found shelter under an old blue table in the lot and waited there scared and alone until we came to her rescue.

Rosie is still a bit underweight and her skin isn't as fluffy and shiny as it should be, but now that she is with a great foster family and getting the proper care, she will be gorgeous and filled out in no time.

Rosie gets along great with other dogs (and has even lived with cats!) and is always up for a hike, play date or just cuddling on the couch.

If you are in the market for a gorgeous, affectionate, medium sized dog then Rose is your gal!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Los Angeles American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
