Batty's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (Mostly) | Age: | Kitten |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This kitten came to us when he was about 2-1/2 months old (we assigned him a birth date of 7/1/12). He had several injuries, and someone had taken him to the vet. He has recovered very nicely from his injuries, and the only thing you can really see anymore is that his tail is a little stubby where he lost the very tip of it.
He appears at first to be completely black, but a closer look reveals that he is actually a black tabby. He has striped legs, spots on his belly, and the tabby "M". He has rather large ears, which led us to name him Batty Koda (for the character in Fern Gully).
He is very sweet and playful, and seems to be quite intelligent. He learns quickly when told not to do something, He's also a water baby - he likes to play in his water dish (and get water all over his paws and the floor). If he had access to a toilet, I suspect he would be playing in there, too. He's completely litter trained, and he loves his KONG toys. He didn't like Iams kitten food at all, but but he does love his Royal Canin kitten food.
We tried to introduce him to some kittens we had found, and he was extremely unfriendly. We think it would be best if he went to a home that did not have any other cats. Due to his previous injuries we also think he would get along better without any dogs. He has exprience with gentle children, and has done great with them.
He has been neutered, declawed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 and includes starter food and litter, as well as his favorite KONG toys.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a group of people who work together, and we started caring for the feral cats in our area. We do TNR whenever we can trap somebody new. Every once in a while, we accidentally come into possession of a few cats that we foster until we can find homes for them.
Since we foster all of our adoptable cats in our homes, we request that you make an appointment to meet them. We are very flexible with our meeting times and places, as all of our adoptable cats have plenty of experience travelling in carriers.
We will wish to meet you and see you interact with the cats. We may also require a home visit.
