Meet Janey, one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. This German Shepherd mix was rescued from a hoarding situation. She was sick with kennel cough and neglected, so T.A.R.A. came to the rescue! She was pretty shy at first, but since she has moved in with her foster mom, Janey has blossomed into a wonderfully sweet little girl. She is great with children, cats and other dogs. She is also 100% house trained. She is an all around great canine companion who will melt your heart when you meet her.
Janey would do best in a quiet, slow paced home. She is spayed and up-to-date on all her shots, heartworm and flea prevention and also had a dental exam one month ago. She is ready to move in with her forever family! Are you ready to bring this wonderful dog into your home and heart?

The first step to adopt any of our animals is to fill out the online application. This is normally followed up with a meeting for you and the animal and a home visit. Adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
We serve the Greater Kansas City Metro area on both the Missouri and Kansas sides of the state line. We evaluate out of town applications on an individual basis.
