About Our Rescue Group...
TNR of Warren, Inc is a 501 © 3 non profit organization dedicated to the Trap Neuter, and Return of feral cats in Trumbull County, Ohio.

We Trap, Neuter and Return cats in managed colonies. A managed colony is one that is being monitored by people, where food, water and adequate shelter are provided for the stray/feral cats.

There is not a shelter big enough to house all the un-owned cats and kittens, therefore we are trying a new approach by going into these managed colonies and trapping the cats and kittens, testing them for leukemia, vaccinating and spaying/neutering them, and releasing them back to where they live. Our hope is that by doing this we can control the cat overpopulation, less cats will end up in shelters, and less will be euthanized simply because there are not enough homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Warren Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
