I am up to date with shots and not good with cats.
Meet Dora. She is playful, happy, and has a dominant personality. Dora needs to be an only dog so he can get all of the love and attention of both her family and their guests. Dora has a cute little trait of hopping around. She loves treats, bones and some toys. But she enjoys treats more than bones. The motivators that work best with Dora are attention and food!
Dora knows all the basic commands: 'come,' 'sit,' 'down,' etc. Dora has been boarded at the American Canine Academy for a four-week training course on dog training and basic obedience. Her obedience on leash is guaranteed. The Academy does have a $50 transfer fee but once that is taken care of she has five free private follow-up classes at the American Canine Academy and free group classes for the rest of her doggie life.
If you can give Dora a loving, caring home where she can be a member of your family, than please fill out the paperwork and begin the process of giving her the forever home she so desperately needs!
Adoption fee is $225 which covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, spay/neuter and includes one training session with Kendra Mojica, ARR Dog Behaviorist. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We work with foster homes to help find homes for pets in need. We coordinate with other shelters and rescue groups to help spread the word about homeless pets on a regular basis. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed in order to provide a "happy ending" for everyone! We operate a volunteer-run thrift store in Breckenridge, Colorado to help fund our operations so we can help as many pets as possible. "For Pets' Sake" is located at 203 N. Main Street in Breckenridge. The shop's phone no. is (970) 453-4339.
We hold adoption events several times monthly at PetSmart and Petco locations in Denver, Aurora, and Loveland, Colorado. Check out website's home page for upcoming events, locations, and times: www.animalrescueoftherockies.org
We ask potential adopters to fill out our adoption application form on our website online, or we can email one directly. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we arrange to do a quick home visit. Once the home visit has been approved, an adoption agreement needs to be filled out online at www.animalrescueoftherockies.org
