My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: September 2008 - Sponsorship

Meet Jack:

Special Needs: Sprays to mark his territory

As large in love as he is in size, sweet, emerald-eyed Jack gives new meaning to the term joyful.

Thirsty for human attention and affection, the onetime stray is happiest when being petted on any welcoming lap while he purrs in pure kitty contentment.

Curious, with a nose that needs to know, he follows everyone around to keep his paws on the pulse of the shelter and all its activities.

Sadly, losing his sight, it neither stifles his spirit nor slows his step as he frisks and frolics and, best of all, snuggles.

Because he marks his territory, we will be his 'fur-ever' home. If you'd like to sponsor Jack while safe in the shelter, click the sponsor icon!

Go meet their pets

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

More about this rescue

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.
