My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Our names are Rita and Boomer! We are great friends that were brought to The PRC after very sadly losing our mommy. We are senior pets. Rita is an 8 year old, female, Pomeranian mix. Boomer is a 7 year old, male, Dachshund. We are the sweetest kids. We wiggle like crazy when we know your coming to pet us. We like to be held and played with and would do well in almost any family dynamic. We are healthy and up to date on all medical needs. We would LOVE to have a home together, but we would be happy just to get a new start if separated. Come meet us!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
