Taylor Blu's Story...
Taylor came to rescue from a breeding facility. She is very sweet and loves to play with other dogs. She is still shy with people, but really wants to trust. She prefers not to walk stairs. She does get nervous during storms and will pace unless she can find comfort next to her person. Taylor is shy around new people and in new situations. She is house trained and crate trained. Taylor walks some on a leash, but needs more practice. Taylor will enjoy a home with other dogs so the can learn the ropes of being a companion Sheltie. She was born o January 2, 2004. Please email for more information about Taylor Blu. She is small at 20 lbs. and VERY pretty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taylor Blu, a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
