Flora's Story...
Flora and her siblings, Emma and Derrik, are the result of a female dog not getting spayed in time. They were also unwanted and un-cared for. Before they came to the foster home, they had little human contact and were very scared. After some hugs and reassurance from the foster family, they began to warm up. They will make wonderful family pets.

Please call their foster family at 573-765-3387 or send an email to jenzme@ymail.com for further information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flora, a Crocker Basset Hound/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Husky for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Basset Hound/Husky puppy from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Husky breeders who help with Basset Hound/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
