**Gonzo is a courtesy post and is not part of Operation Education. If you have any questions about him or are interested in making him part of your family, please contact Pam at feteaccompli@bellsouth.net**
Gonzo was found tied to a telephone pole on the side of the road with another dog. The people who tied them there left them without any kind of food, water, or shelter. Pam and her husband found the dogs and are now trying to find good, loving homes for them. She is extremely allergic and is having to keep Gonzo outside on a lead because of that, which is doesn't feel is fair or right for him. Gonzo is approximately 1 year old and is very friendly. It does appear that he's spent his whole life tied up and needs some help with knowing not to jump because of that. He is very smart though and is already learning how to sit. He is not good with cats but does great with the other dog he was found with. Gonzo is not neutered or up-to-date on vaccines but Pam is willing to donate money towards this to find him a great home. Please send opedanimalrescue@gmail.com an email if you would like a list of low-cost spay and neuter clinics.
Rescue Group Info...
Operation Education is a educational organization and an all breed dog rescue located in Middle Tennessee. Our goal is to help end the needless killing of 4 million+ companion animals each year through education.
Operation Education requires a PHYSICAL fence for off leash playtime. All animals in the home must be up to date on vaccines, on a heartworm preventive and spayed or neutered. We will conduct a home visit and a vet check to ensure all these qualifications are met.
Operation Education is located in Middle Tennessee. We do require a home visit as part of our adoption process.
