Sandra D's Story...
COURTESY POST Found in an Atlanta junkyard with Scooby, Sammie is our old lady. About 8 years old, she is starting to slow down, but will not let that stop her from giving you all of the love you need and then some! Sammie is very social. She does great with people and will get along with certain dogs, but no cats. She needs a good home with people to play and relax with for years to come.
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandra D, a Atlanta American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
