Mama Collected's Story...
Please contact Jennifer (saturday320399@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Mama Collected is a beautiful brown tabby with a very cute face.  Mama Collected was brought to us with her two kittens.  We were told she was found under a deck with them--they were a little wary of people but had clearly had human contact before.  It was during the heat wave and the person who brought them in was very worried about them being outside.  Mama Collected LOVES to be petted and will purr away.  She is also VERY playful and super fast!  She races around the adoption center chasing after toys and is so fun to watch.  Mama C. is a great watcher; she keeps a close eye on her humans even when they can’t see her so well.  She’s the textbook example of how to get a cat interested in you by ignoring her - once you sit down with a book or a phone and don’t pay attention to her, she’ll be right next to you bonking her head against your leg.  She is a sweet girl who may take a couple days to get used to a new environment.  She is quiet and would love a new forever home.  She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots.  Come meet her!

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
