Alfie's Story...
Alfie is a 12 lb. little terrier mix. This is a much better picture of Alfie - even though he is wearing a pink sweater, a hand me down, he is all boy... he can be quiet and well behaved and cuddle and be held, or he can be rough and tumble with the big dogs in the house - he has a positive attitude, always happy, very easy to train, does not mind his cage, but really doesn't need it, sleeps through the night, potties outside as long has we are diligent about giving him potty breaks. He loves everyone he meets, and he loves all the dogs in the house, even grumpy old Bear. He sits for a treat, he runs for his cage when it is time to be fed because he likes to eat in his cage. He loves to sit on the back of the couch and stare out the window like a cat...I love this little man, and if you can give him a good home, please contact me at shaggydogjean@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfie, a Rowayton Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Rowayton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Rowayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rowayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rowayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rowayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
