Alfie's Story...
Alfie is a 12 lb. little terrier mix. This is a much better picture of Alfie - even though he is wearing a pink sweater, a hand me down, he is all boy... he can be quiet and well behaved and cuddle and be held, or he can be rough and tumble with the big dogs in the house - he has a positive attitude, always happy, very easy to train, does not mind his cage, but really doesn't need it, sleeps through the night, potties outside as long has we are diligent about giving him potty breaks. He loves everyone he meets, and he loves all the dogs in the house, even grumpy old Bear. He sits for a treat, he runs for his cage when it is time to be fed because he likes to eat in his cage. He loves to sit on the back of the couch and stare out the window like a cat...I love this little man, and if you can give him a good home, please contact me at shaggydogjean@hotmail.com

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a group of women determined to help as many dogs as we can. We find them on the road, lonely and scared and lost, or we help save them from euthanasia at the shelters. Sometimes we also receive owner surrenders, who for what ever reason, can no longer care for their pet. They might of had to move away, or can't afford the pet or lost their homes, etc, but through no fault of the dog. The pet deserves to have a second chance in life, and we help to make that happen!!

Our Adoption Process...
If you are serious about adopting one of our pets listed, please call or email us for more information. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We will set up a phone interview with you to see if it will be a good match for the dog/puppy and you. Then we will ask for a vet reference, and also if you rent your home or apt, we will need proof from your landlord that you are indeed allowed a dog/puppy. Then we have a contract for you to sign and get back to us, then depending on the location of the dog/puppy, we will then arrange transport.
