Natty's Story...
I fell in love with Natty right away, as will you once you meet him. His racing name was Gable Nay but quickly changed to the hero Natty (props for those who get the Lit reference). He's just beautiful, but doesn't seem to know it. He's going to snug up to you in know time, and is eager to find someone that will always come back. Even at his first rest stop on his way to his foster home he came when called, not noticing the change in name. He is loving his new career as a pet but wants someone to teach him some new tricks, chasing fake rabbits bored him. Find out more and where to meet him on our site www.greyhoundsverdevalley.org you won't regret it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Natty, a Cottonwood Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Cottonwood, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Cottonwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottonwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottonwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottonwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
