Lucy's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING ONLY. WE HAVE NO INFORMATION ABOUT THIS DOG. PLEASE CONTACT THE LISTED OWNER AT THE END OF THIS DESCRIPTION.
Lucy is a very gentle natured, female Rat Terrier, she is about 14 months old. She is current on all her shots and has been spayed. She is a very loving dog, who would love to cuddle with you on the couch, and she loves a nice car ride, or just to get outside for a walk. She has never met a dog she doesn't like, though at first she might bark. She likes her friend, Leo, who is a large cat that lives with us. Lucy needs someone who can give her some attention and love. She is basically house broken, but she may have accidents when left alone. She is a very gentle dog, she would do well with older children but because of her small size may be easily injured if not handled properly bu younger children. If interested, please contact Eddie @ 614-371-8200 or 614-865-0556.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Powell Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Powell, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
