Tulsa's Story...
Meet Tulsa!!! She is around 3 years old and loving life! Tulsa is crate trained and is working on
house training. She was in the shelter since July so she is just a little confused. She is getting
better every day! She is a big 50lbs of adorable lap dog that just wants to please you. She
enjoys getting attention and pulling all the bones out of the toy bin. With her colors, the foster
believes she is a distant Bernese mountain dog/ hound mix. She is an awesome dog all around
and her personality will show you that. She is still learning the house manners, and loves to
follow you around the house! She does great with other dogs. She enjoys romping around and
playing with her foster siblings. Tulsa had a prey instinct for cats, so no cats for her. Tulsa would
do great in any family with or without kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulsa, a Hanover Black and Tan Coonhound/Bernese Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Bernese Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
