Diva's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Diva's Story...
I'm Diva and I love to play. I will play until I fall over from exhaustion. I need a loving, active home where my parent(s) want to take me for long walks or play fetch constantly. I am extremely loving and enjoy good snuggling. I currently sleep in bed with my people, laying against them. I will not chew or damage your home, just make sure I have toys. I am house broken. I like the doggy-door at my foster home. I go out when necessary and have no interest in escaping the yard, getting into trouble or barking all the time, I am a great dog. I do require a lot of attention and am prepared to bug you for it; but, my foster family is working on that. I am learning manners; slowly, because I am still young and excitable. I sometimes jump on people for attention and nip at their heels......I know better; but, I get so exuberant. My perfect home will be one with an active owner that wants me to be a huge part of their life. My plan is to be by their side for the rest of my life providing fun, love and companionship. Please, please don’t consider me unless you want a best friend forever!
Diva is very sweet but because she is very intense and exhuberant she is not recommended for cats or small children. We are uncertain about other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diva, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
