My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie and Clyde are two cats we were holding while their owner was in transion. They ended up being relinquished due to unforeseen circumstances and are now being offered for adoption. Bonnie is approximately 3 years old, black with some white on her tummy, and up-to-date on her shots. She is currently not spayed, but we will be charging a spay fee that is refundable upon proof of her spay. She is very sweet and craves attention. The former owner said she hid when they had her, but she's been nothing but mobile since she came into our care. She growls at other cats but seems to tolerate them as long as they don't go after her. She is very tolerant of young children and even accepts being picked up. She will let a child know when they have been playing with her too roughly or too long, but she doesn't hurt them. I don't know what her reaction would be around dogs. We would prefer that Bonnie and Clyde her companion be adopted together, but am flexible on this policy.

Please see photo and call or email for more information (if you email us please expect a delay in getting back to you). Bonnie MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and fee. We offer a reduced adoption fee if 2 cats are adopted by the same family. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. There are no refunds of the adoption fee, just the spay/neuter fee. People within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs get adoption priority due to transportation restrictions unless I can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions (this is pending). NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP!!
