My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie and Clyde are two cats we were holding while their owner was in transion. They ended up being relinquished due to unforeseen circumstances and are now being offered for adoption. Clyde is approximately 3 years old, black with some white on his tummy, neutered, and up-to-date on his shots. He is very sweet and craves attention. He will beg for food and follow one around the house and will even jump on one's back if one were to bend over. He seems to prefer women. He's gone after other cats but seems to tolerate them as long as they don't get near him. He acts like a dominant male. He is very tolerant of young children and even accepts being picked up. He will let a child know when they have been playing with her too roughly or too long, but he doesn't hurt them. However he acts like he was previously abused as he will attack your foot if you nudge him with it. I don't know what his reaction would be around dogs. We would prefer that Clyde and Bonnie his companion be adopted together, but am flexible on this policy.

Photos will be posted shortly. Please call or email for more information (if you email us please expect a delay in getting back to you). Clyde MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and fee. We offer a reduced adoption fee if 2 cats are adopted by the same family. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. No refunds. People within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs get adoption priority due to transportation restrictions unless I can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions (this is pending). NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP!!
