Peach's Story...
Peach is just like her name, sweet and wonderful. Peach is a sweet soul with a wonderful personality. He loves to talk when he has something to say, and quite down and purr when she wants to cuddle. Peach would do best in a home where she can stay with one of her brothers, with Tad or Sheldon. They are her protectors and she looks to them for comfort. The "Finding Nemo" Kittens were rescued by Pawsitive Karma Rescue off of the euthanasia list in Arlington, Tx. They are currently up for pre adoption, meaning adopters can complete the adoption process and reserve their kitten. Once they are all worked up and neutered they can go to their new forever homes. The Nemo kittens will be ready to go home in the first week of Novemeber. All PKR adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, dewormer, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, To start the adoption process, fill out the cat adoption questionnaire. Feel free to email with any questions you may have! Adopt@PawsitiveKarmaRescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peach, a Austin Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Austin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
